Polstore partnered with the USAF Air Force Repair Enhancement Programme to equip elite maintainers with precise storage for tools, weapons and specialist equipment used on aircraft and ground systems.
Bespoke routed foam shadow boards and inlays in drawer cabinets and protective cases ensure every item has a defined location, improving control, speeding up retrieval and supporting AFREP’s mission to repair the “unfixable”.
Enhancing security and efficiency in RAF weapons storage
Polstore partnered with an RAF base to modernise an outdated armoury where weapons were scattered across locations, slowing access and tracking. A custom mobile roller racking system with integrated racks and yellow foam shadow boards assigned each personnel a secure bay for carbines, pistols, shotguns and documents, boosting capacity by 60%.
With 16 high-density bays, bolt-down locks and angled boards for instant checks, it delivers rapid retrieval, security and accountability, fitted in days for enhanced efficiency.
