Stride for Cancer: A Step Toward Kindness

As part of our 60th anniversary celebrations, the Polstore team has committed themselves to completing 60 Acts of Kindness throughout the year.

One of the latest acts comes from our colleague Kristina Fordham, who recently completed the 5K Stride for Cancer in support of the Teenage and Young Adult Cancer Fund at Royal Surrey County Hospital.

The Teenage and Young Adult Cancer Service Fund supports young people aged 16-30 years living with cancer and beyond, who are cared for by the hospital’s incredible Teenage and Young Adult Cancer Service (TYAC).

For Kristina, this challenge was far more than a fundraising event. The charity holds personal significance for her and her family, making the walk a meaningful opportunity to support a cause that provides vital care and comfort to young people facing cancer,

Kristina’s achievement highlights the heart behind our 60 Acts of Kindness pledge. These acts may differ in scale, but each one is driven by the same intention: to give back and support those who need it.

We are incredibly proud of Kristina for her effort, dedication and the way she chose to contribute to this year’s milestone.
