HIGH DENSITY STORAGE
The Fusilier Museum based in Bury, Lancashire have completed a superb 1.4m new development to bring the first floor of the building back into use. The museum is the home of collections of the XX Lancashire Fusiliers and the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers.
The vision was to create a new open store to display more of the museums vast collection and flexible events space. The museum staff, designers and contractors certainly have achieved this.
Polstore designed and supplied the museum display cupboards and visual browser drawer storage cabinets with glass inserts for medal storage throughout the first floor. Due to the wide range of items to store, flexibility was built in for hanging garments and objects – each unit can house hanging rails, adjustable shelves and pull out drawers.
The visual impact of the store exceeds our expectations and all our visitors are rewarded with a stunning experience.
