Drawer Storage For Artefacts

Polstore were commissioned to supply and install over 200 museum drawer storage cabinets into the Egyptian stores at the British Museum. Priceless Egyptian artefacts were stored in specially designed plastazote drawer foam liners creating the perfect environment to preserve the artefacts.

The drawer design means that objects are readily retrievable whilst being stored in a high security system which is free from off-gassing, associated with standard wooden shelving and cabinets. The artefacts are now located in a dust and light free location and will be preserved for many future generations, in the ultimate museum storage environment.
